I'd have to pick a compass bearing somewhere around North East to find somewhere suitable to my tastes.  NZ is out as I'm not socialist enough and would rather be gainfully employed, and Africa and SE Asia are out largely due to my own ignorance.

In the right places in the US, going due east will land you around Cadiz, Spain.

I'd go with that. Canada is a solid choice as well, ofc. But Spain has always seemed neat to me.

I’m going to cheat and move East. When I get somewhere I’ll do the poll again and move south to end up in South East Asia, which is where I’m moving to in a couple of months😊

Trust me, Spain is kinda bad of a place to live in unless you’re in the upper class(the 2008 recession made it so that the middle class got far worse than it already was, making people’s lives pretty hard). Even so, it’s your choice.

Ooooooo. I was thinking South and Mexico but then you said this. Due east of me (actually, us :P) would land us in Portugal. Due east of where I grew up would be the Canary Islands...... decisions, decisions....
