Never went to a Blockbuster because my sister in law was friends with a guy that had a string of video rental stores, so we went there instead.

I love Blockbuster. Present tense. 

I felt so cool when I got their movie pass my senior year of HS. Not to mention the mail-in program before Netflix's DVDs by mail took off. I loved it!

Every Friday afternoon after school my mother would take me to Blockbuster to decide what movie we would watch that weekend. I have such fond memories.

Never went to Blockbuster but I went to my equivalent - Tsutaya. They still do DVD rentals but they're dwindling in number and mostly sell just books now. I honestly wish we could go back to DVD rentals, it was a much more interesting system that allowed you to make discoveries and access almost any kind of movie/show.
