Time to unveil the newly named recruits. Since no one volunteered, the following people have been... forcibly conscripted. The four will be joining us for the first few battles so they can accumulate some experience.

Update 5 (part 2): "That belongs in a museum!"
So the TKR mercenary company has been roaming around, taking contracts for quite a while. We need a goal, something to do. It was then decided that the next goal (aside from making shitton of money and fame) is to find a unique equipment. Unique equipment are one of a kind weapons or armor which is not only good but possessing one will make the TKR mercenary band even more famous.
Scouring the local tavern, there was a rumor of an adventuring party who was ambushed trying to dig up some artifacts in a nearby ruins. Survivors told of the dead rising up to meet them in combat. The company immediately set off for that place in hope of finding a unique equipment despite not quite knowing what to expect.

Update 5 (part 2): "That belongs in a museum!"

The very sp00ky battle (part 1)
Entering the battlefield, we immediately spotted a couple of zombies (aka Wiedergangers). eh, this is not so bad. But then, more kept coming until someone spotted a Fallen hero among the horde
Fallen hero is basically a very well armed and armoured zombie. "Well, this isn't too bad yet there's only one so I think I can handle it". However, as the saying goes, overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
And then some Geist appeared. Geist are ghost that are very good at making people flee and are extremely hard to hit. So this fight basically went from a very easy fight to one where we're probably fucked.
Soon enough, the line of zombie starts to claw at the frontliner. A few of them falls.. but just to then rise up again immediately. Things are going relatively well until the geists start screaming unholy terror for everyone to hear. Saintly Bloody (top left) and Awsomness are the first to start fleeing.
Saintly Bloody was lucky enough to break away from the zombies while taking minimal damage. In addition to this, the Fallen hero decides to chase him instead of going after the main line which is nice. Awesomeness on the other hand, wasn't so lucky, taking a sword to the gut as he tries to run away

During all of this, Deus did a pretty good job showing his legs to prevent (most) people from fleeing in terror and forcing fleeing people to come back into battle
However, it wasn't quite enough and the front line starts to fall apart. Deus is now within melee range of the zombie, while Laffopuritain is forced to put away the bow and draw a sword to drive away the oncoming horde. Meanwhile, the Fallen hero decided to stop chasing Saintly Bloody and came back to fight the other frontliners.
and then shit hits the fan when one of the zombie took offense to Deus's magnificent legs and decapitate him.
Wait, hold on a minute...
uhhhhhhh.... well then...
It appears that during the whole commotion, the recently deceased Awesomeness came back as a zombie and the first thing he did was chop off Deus's head.
Losing the bannerman is a pretty big deal since there's no one to rally people and almost everyone is now fleeing, not wanting to listen to the geists' shitty mixtape. Well, it's time for the nuclear option

The good new is that no one else died. The bad news are that everyone injured themselves pretty badly during the retreat and the company's banner along with the bannerman's sash are lost somewhere in the ruin.
So yeah, I guess the quest for unique equipment went pretty badly

The good news is that you got decapitated so there's exactly 0 chance of you coming back as a zombie with stinky, rotten legs
The bad news is that I have no idea whether you can get a new banner in the game or is it lost forever now.
On a sidenote, this or the next update might actually be the very last update for the current Battle Brother playthrough. I kinda want to do a new playthrough and use experience from this playthrough to not make as many mistakes in the new one.
