My inspiration for todays poll:

Waffle Day (SwedishVåffeldagen)is a tradition that is celebrated in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark on March 25, which is also the Feast of the Annunciation upon which waffles are typically eaten. The shift from the religious celebration to Waffle Day occurred because the Swedish Vårfrudagen, meaning "Our Lady's Day" (the Feast of the Annunciation), sounds similar to Våffeldagen ("waffle day") in faster speech, and so over time Swedes began calling it Waffle Day and celebrating by eating waffles.

(Thankyou Wikipedia 😉)

...Do I really need to ask what the hell a potato waffle is?
Kind of like a potato pancake but people usually dress them like a baked potato instead of syrup.  Chives, sour cream, cheese, bacon, etc.  Don't forget waffle fries too.

No its not a joke.  Its a eastern European thing.  Specifically in my case I am aware of them because of my Great Grandmother making them when I was little, like her Grandmother did in Poland.  But lots of other countries make pancakes out of potatos.
