Do you ever purposely feed/encourage the wildlife that visit your property?

So you'll notice i said property and not your garden , well some of you may not have a garden but feed birds on your balcony or the squirrels in your loft/attic.

Personally i put food out on the bird table in the garden mealworms, fat and seed, the table is regularly visited by Robins , Sparrows , Blue Tits , Coal Tits , Blackbirds , Throstles , Wood Pigeons and on rare occasions the odd squirrel will make an appearance.

I have in the past put food out for the hedgehogs but even then they was a rare sight 😔

Also i'd be interested to know what animals you are feeding that visit your properties, our membership is worldwide so i know there's potential for something which the rest of us don't ordinarily see.

The only visitors I have ever had in my garden are my neighbours cats, a few foxes, frogs and a rabbit or two.

I've fed none of them.

But we do have a bird shelter in our garden  but it is very rarely used.

Feeding stations for Birds in the winter, foxes, hedgehogs and other forest animals with leftover (unsalted) meat and compost waste (Carrot Peels etc)

I wouldn’t feed the wildlife at my place, we have heaps of wallabies and they’d quickly destroy my poor excuse for a lawn.  Also the hawks are not particularly social and are carnivorous anyway, the bush pigs are all asleep during the day and are full of tuberculosis and bad manners,  and the only other likely nonHuman residents (snakes) will get the good news from my shovel before they get a dinner.

Loving these positive vibes your giving off 😆 , Personally i'd happily sacrafice my lawn for wallabies 😊 But i love wallabies , i understand they could be a pest if you're trying to maintain a garden.
