Baked ham, mango and prawn salad, potato salad, roast beef and roast chicken with veges are the staples, alongside any other salads and other sides people contribute.
24th December: Potato salad and sausages. I once read that this is eaten by about 20% to 30% of all families in German on christmas eve. So it's definitely traditional in addition to being part of our national cuisine.
25th December: Roasted goose, Klöße (made from potatos), boiled red cabagge and peas. Also traditional/national. Although we haven't had it in years. This year will be the first time we're having a goose since 2007 or 2008 I think.
