Slight sidenote, the desecration of corpses in any way sickens me well beyond any other act I can think of. Respect of someones corpse and what they want done with it is really their last and only possible request from the world, and they are powerless themselves to see it through, so it's important we fulfill it to give them basic respect as a human being. The only cases I can see otherwise are for literally the worst humans in all of history, like the top 10, but even then, the desecration of a corpse is just savage, and we ourselves become savage through the desecration of a corpse.

 
Mummification. Only way to live forever is not to be forgotten. We still speak of people in Egypt who died 5000 years ago. Must be working for them.

When a friend of a friend died he was cremated. His urn was put into a little replica of his boat (he was a waterman) and  they did a Viking funeral in the bay. That’s how I want to be sent off. 

 
I like the Zoroastrian idea of being left on a Tower of Silence however, I am not a Zoroastrian so just chuck me in the ground but none of that Christian shit.
