Gonna have to agree with Kebs on this one. I will absolutely kill an individual spider that invades my home, but I don't want to see them all dead.

Give me one valid reason for a mosquitos existence? Short of possibly giving us live dinosaurs (other than @TheCreepyLurker) I don't see how they serve any functional purpose at all.

I get the sense that if you didn't kill the spider, you would end up in the dog house or on the couch.

That would be a very valid reason if we could
, but they do make up an important part of the foodchain for many animals and act as pollinators for plants, the majority of mosquitoes are herbivorous, it's the females who are the bloodsuckers they need a nutrient found in blood in order to produce eggs.

I don't even kill em in my home, if someone wants it moved i usually just pick em up an pretend i've put it outside an really i've put em in another room. Called house spiders for a reason.
