i'm really good with the polls atm hot damn, we just had local elections in the UK so i was wondering, have you ever done a protest vote - be it spoiling your ballot OR voting for someone who you don't really believe in just so someone else doesn't get in as your favourite doesn't have a chance..

 
Was actually surprised how split these results were, was kinda thinking it was a stupid question at first. Why are so many people saying never though - most countries use a first to the post system where, as a combined effort this can lead to a preferred candidate coming in over one who you heavily dislike but has a high potential to win.

edit: i'm 17 though, maybe i'm missing something if so please say  :D

I don't do protest votes but I'd consider myself a swing voter because I've voted for four different parties since I've been eligible to vote.

 
Just wait until the European elections when man of the people, privately educated, ex investment banker, multi millionare Nigel Farage and his mob win in the UK, let alone seeing all those pics of spoilt ballots.
