So about this scene. In the original version, the actor of Seamus Finnigan (Devon Murray) speaks in an Irish accent which is why this sentence is actually at least somewhat hard to understand (although I'm of the opinion that it's still quite clear). So when Harry asks Ron what Seamus is trying to do, then I can somewhat understand why Harry would not understand it.

Now in the German version he speaks perfect and fluent Standard German with no accent. Which is utter nonsense. He clearly says in German "This water will turn to rum" and Harry is like "rOn I dOn'T uNdErStAnD wHaT sEaMuS iS tRyInG tO Do!" which makes him look like a complete idiot.

I've not had a lot of rum really. I've not had any for years, I don't think. Maybe some Captain, but it's not particularly my favorite. So I must vote no. 






Now if it's all I've got.....

Only ever tried beer or tequila, I’m afraid. Some red wine. And champagne too. But no rum yet. I have been itching to try mead, though.

 
I'm not much of a drinker but I think I like tequila the best.

One time I made homemade margaritas and I was shocked at how easily and pleasantly I can consume a large amount of it.

In comparison, vodka just seems nasty.

Don't complain, remember how could be much worse (any slavic dub of any movie)
